NSW International Student Awards 2017

ISA2017 banner

Date: 22 March 2017

The NSW International Student Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions international students make to communities in NSW and recognise excellence in international student community engagement.

The NSW International Student Awards are comprised of two types of awards:

  • the NSW International Student of the Year Award and
  • the NSW International Student Community Engagement Award

Why should you be involved?

Nominating for the Awards provides an opportunity to reward and encourage an individual student or a team that is going ‘above and beyond’. Aside from the honour of being nominated, the process of preparing a nomination often provides valuable character references that the nominee can use in future.

For the 2017 Awards, winners will receive prize money of $5,000 and all finalists will receive a gift certificate. For the International Student of the Year Award the prize money can be put towards study and living expenses. For the International Student Community Engagement Award the prize money is expected to contribute to the winning initiative or program.  All finalists will receive a gift voucher.

As well as the prestige of receiving an Award, the media attention that winners, finalists and their institutions receive within their local communities, school and home countries helps to build their professional reputation.

Online nominations have now closed.
