Australian Student Visa holders are normally eligible to work for up to 20 hours a week during term time and full time during holidays, but it is important to check your visa rules to ensure you are allowed to work before you start looking for a job. Starting your job
Before you agree to work anywhere it is important that you understand:
- How much, when and how you will be paid
- The hours and days you will be working
- Your working conditions
- Whether you are employed full time, part time, casually or engaged as a contractor
