Macquarie University Orientation Week

Date: 18 February 2019  - 25 February 2019

Location:  Macquarie University, Balaclava Rd, Macquarie Park NSW 2109

Orientation Week, or 'O Week' as you'll come to know it, is all about welcoming you to Macquarie University. While O Week officially runs from 18 - 25 February, there are activities planned before and after these dates too.

As a new student, orientation will help you discover the campus, experience university life and find out everything you need to know to prepare for the start of classes. This is your chance to connect with your peers and get to know your Faculty for a successful start.

We've designed a program of events and activities for you to enjoy including workshops, games and lots of entertainment. Some events have limited space so register now to secure your place! Be sure to check out the drop-in sessions as well.

Stalls will also be running on Monday 25 February, so don’t miss out as a current student, as it is a great opportunity to reconnect with your peers and find out what’s in store for Session 1.

Your Faculty Welcome

At this welcome, faculty staff and current students will take you through key information so you get off to a great start. This is your chance to meet the Macquarie University Mentors, our current student guides who'll be able to guide and support you as you transition to university life. Enjoy a campus tour with the mentors, explore your faculty, meet the student groups and make long lasting friendships.

Share your experience at O Week by tagging your social posts with #mymq.

We look forward to seeing you on campus!
