NSW International Student Welcome Desk
Study NSW opened the NSW International Student Welcome Desk in 2015 to greet international students arriving at Sydney International Airport.
The welcome desk is located beside the Airport Ambassador's desk in Arrivals Hall A International Terminal.
2020 Opening Hours
In peak season the desk is open 7 days a week for two shifts, morning and afternoon. For the rest of the year the desk is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the morning.
Peak season dates: 13 January to 8 March, 4 May to 7 June and 6 July to 13 September.
The welcome desk is staffed by local and international student volunteers through a work integrated learning (WIL) program coordinated by Study NSW. Volunteers greet students and offer orientation advice including maps and information about accommodation and transport.
