The second NSW Education Showcase in ASEAN will be held this year in Vietnam.
The Showcase will be in Hanoi from Monday 9 September to Wednesday 11 September 2024 and Ho Chi Minh City from Thursday 12 September to Saturday 14 September 2024.

Study NSW invites NSW-based organisations in the following international education sub-sectors to participate in the Showcase:
- Higher Education
- Vocational Education and Training (VET)
- English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS)
- Schools
- Student Accommodation
- Overseas Students Health Cover (OSHC)
- EdTech and education-enabling technologies

Why participate
- Vietnam is a fast-growing market with a population of 98 million people.
- Vietnam is also one of the fastest growing economies in Southeast Asia, with an average annual GDP growth rate of around 6-7% in recent years.
- Education continues to play a key role in the country’s growth, with a focus on quality and positive outcomes.
- The Vietnamese government invests on developing the country's education system and promotes entrepreneurship and innovation through the establishment of technology parks.
- Vietnam is a key international student source market for Australia and is the 7th largest source market for NSW.
- As of September 2023, there are 12,428 Vietnamese students enrolled in NSW institutions, a 24% increase over 2019 and 51% over 2022.
Objectives
- Increase student recruitment numbers from Vietnam to NSW.
- Raise awareness and showcase NSW’s education excellence, support for international students and the benefits of studying in NSW, leveraging the Study NSW brand.
- Broaden opportunities for NSW education providers and education related businesses to secure commercial outcomes in Vietnam.
- Raise awareness about the quality of NSW education and research and showcase the capabilities of our education providers and education related businesses.

Participation cost
There is a participation fee for the NSW Education Showcase in Vietnam.
Option A: Full stall (AUD $1,500)
The stall will include a stall (with your organisation’s name and branding), table, and chairs at the Expo. You will also have an opportunity to host a sprint seminar showcasing your organisation during the Expo.
Option B: Table and banner (AUD $800)
This option will provide you a table, a chair, and a banner at the Expo.
For both options A and B, the participation fee will cover:
- provision of your organisation’s stall or table at the NSW Education Expos in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, inclusive of registration of up to 3 staff
- registration to NSW Alumni Events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
- registration to NSW Education Roundtables in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
- participation in the visit to a NSW University Campus in Ho Chi Minh City
- your organisation’s logo included in the Showcase campaign from June to September 2024, including digital and print campaign
- your organisation’s logo included in Showcase collateral including posters, brochures, webpages, and banners.
The fees will not cover flights, meals, accommodation, or ground transport. Some transport costs to venues which are part of the program may be covered.

Potential roundtable participants include representatives from the Australian Embassy and Austrade in Hanoi, scholarship providers such as Vin University and Aus4Skills, and school counsellors and principals of large international schools. |
NSW Alumni Event, Hanoi Meet NSW alumni in Hanoi and be updated of their achievements and make them part of your institution’s future engagement in Vietnam. Take advantage of the opportunity to showcase your alumni in future recruitment efforts. |
