Nominations open for 2024 NSW International Education Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2024 NSW International Education Awards which recognise the state’s most outstanding international students and organisations that work in the sector.

With around 256,000 international students currently studying in NSW, the awards are an important opportunity to celebrate their valuable contributions to communities and the broader economy.

A total of seven awards will be handed out across the following two groups:

  • NSW International Student of the Year Award - recognising the contributions of international students across four categories; Schools, English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS), Vocational Education and Training (VET), and Higher Education.
  • NSW International Education Industry Award - recognising programs and initiatives across three categories; Education Providers, EdTech Engagement, and Partnership Excellence.

Nominations for the 2024 NSW International Education Awards close on Tuesday 6 August 2024 with finalists expected to be announced in October ahead of the awards ceremony in Sydney on Wednesday 6 November 2024.
